Student’s Industrial Visit – Jan 2020 “History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of Children”– Nelson Mandela A nation’s prosperity depends on many factors. The proper upbringing and education of children happen to be one of them. Though our society has witnessed massive development, there is a vast section which is still underprivileged and cannot fulfill the basic needs of a child. Our children need immense support and guidance for them to bloom into responsible and valued citizens. The examples we set today and the values we sow in them act as the principles which will run a healthy society in the future. Proper nurture and education have always made significant impacts on a child. As a result, on the 19 th January, Prescient Technologies conducted an all-student industrial visit called “Anand Melava” at the company premises, under the employee engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. Fifty-nine students of 7 th and 8 th standards accompanied by four volunteers from Janta Vasahat, Vetalbaba vasti – Hadapsar and Keshvanagar, participated in the event. The event was possible with the support of Jnana Prabodhini, Pune, which conducts teaching programs in the areas mentioned above under the Pradnya Vikas (Mental development) project which aims students from the underprivileged section of society.
